26 September 2018 Class

During class today, we talked about the International Date Line, which is located at 180० longitude, and deviates at times to accommodate small nations and islands.
After learning about the International Date Line, we were given three maps and expected to label:
  • The Equator and the Prime Meridian (Greenwich).
  • The nation of our origin (in my case, the Dominican Republic).
  • All seven continents and five oceans.
  • The International Date Line.
  • The tropics of Capricorn and Cancer.
  • The John Carroll School.
If we didn't finish labeling, we were to finish labeling the maps at home.
I did not finish my first map. So I have to finish my first, start and finish my second, and start and finish my third. I am honestly not excited. I really prefer when Mr. Schick is teaching history, of any kind. I am sure labeling maps is just not my thing.
The highlight of the class for me was the random dude singing, and when some of the girls started backing him up.
