My Recent Days at School
My first days at the John Carroll School were great overall.
- The first day of biology was nice, I helped save someone very important, Sam. Sam is a gummy worm that was born in a factory and raised in a bag. He was about to drown. I didn't want Sam to die, so I helped him get to the shore, and put his life vest on so that he could keep playing in the water with his boat.
- In STEAM, we make fun exercises that revolve around problem solving and analytical thinking. It may actually be one of my favorite classes.
- I don't really know what to say about intro to the bible. Honestly, to me it wasn't very interesting. and I only had it once, that one time was to meet the teacher. We didn't really do many class-related things. Who knows? It may be my favorite class.
- English is not my favorite subject, it is a little bit hard even though it is only English 1, thing that makes me sad, basic level and it is hard, even if it is only slightly hard. It SHOULD be easy for me.
- On the other side, the basic German is easy. I liked the teacher's explanations a lot, he made the subject seem very interesting.
- Patriot transitions was a bummer. Since my schedule was so full, I had to take it after classes. After waiting for 20 minutes, the teacher finally arrived to tell us that we could just take it during lunch at least one day in every 8-day cycle. So it didn't turn up to be too bad. Only bad thing is I don't have any free mod. At all.
- I was WAY too lost in chorus. I got in the classroom, sat on my seat. Ten minutes later, I was singing a song which I had never heard the lyrics to. I was very lost. The second day, we were singing a different song already. I guess I just need more time to adjust to the class, and the songs.
- I just had Algebra yesterday (because you probably will read the blog the day after I write it). It wasn't bad, but it wasn't as fun as in middle school.
- I still don't know what human geography (this class) is about. It is WAY different than I thought it would be. But I haven't had the class for a long enough time to judge it.
- The people seem nice, I just don't have the initiative to really talk to them. Talking about the people... I don't know if they are on steroids or if I should be. Most of them are AT LEAST one head taller than I am. And it bothers me. I believe they should all wear shoes with little to no platform and let me use one of those shoes Lady Gaga that have at least 1 foot of platform. All that only to be on their tallness level, not to surpass them.
Great work! Looking forward to the Gaga platforms.
