16 October 2018 Class
Today during class, we were introduced two shadows, CC and a boy from her same school, which I also forgot the name of. CC told us something interesting about her, but, for some mysterious reason, even her own classmate - the boy I had for had forgotten the name of - had not seen her do so. I found that a little bit suspicious, but they must have found out us talking about murder very lightly while reviewing lightly suspicious, too. Honestly, it is really weird how we got to the theme of murder at all.
We were talking about culture and ended in religious affiliation. So, how religion makes up part of the culture of a country. We talked about Middle East countries and their homogenous religion, Islam; the United States and the free will for its people to practice religion. How in countries where the Islamic religion is a must, the religion and the government itself are intertwined, so, when one commits a crime is because he or she is breaking commandments given by a God, not created by the people. When one breaks a law in the United States, it is because he or she broke something that the people had declared as illegal, not God. For example, when charged with murder in the Unites States, one would not be charged with the 6th Commandment: "Thou shalt not kill", but with state laws that prevent people from murdering others.
Later we talked about 9/11 and how it was incorporated into the United States' culture. When creating Homeland Security and handling places like the airport security more thoroughly.
