Population and Settlement

People on the Land

More People than Ever!!!!!!!
  • Over 7.5 BILLION people currently on the planet.
  • Increasing by over 73 MILLION per year.
  • By approximately 200,000 people per DAY,
  • 8,377 people per HOUR,
  • 149 people per MINUTE, and
  • 2.5 people per SECOND.
  • 90 percent of the growth of the population of the world is in developing countries in Africa, South and East Asia, and Latin America.
By 1804, there was one billion people for the first time, time taken: More than ten thousand years.
By 1927, there were two billion people, time taken: a hundred and twenty-three years.
By 1960, there were three billion people, time taken: thirty-three years.
By 1974, there were four billion people, time taken: fourteen years.
By 1987, there were five billion people, time taken: thirteen years.
By 1999, there were six billion people, time taken: twelve years.
By 2011, there were seven billion people, time taken: twelve years.

The human population is growing exponentially and is not showing any signs of stopping. If it does not stop, there will be havoc and chaos. I believe that, in order to stop that, all countries must have a limit of two children per family. And those families who have more than two will either have to give the baby up for adoption or pay extra taxes. Those who want to adopt after reaching the two-children limit must get the baby from an adoption center, which must be looked after by the government. If those rules are followed, then the damage after the years will not be as great.
